Stubbs Constructions Pty. Ltd. was formed in 1938 by Louis and Dorothy Stubbs and was initially known as L. T. Stubbs Penguin, specialising in building, painting and paper hanging.
One of the notable Art Deco buildings built by Stubbs was the Neptune Grand Hotel in Penguin which burnt down and Stubbs company rebuilt it in Moderne style in the early 1940s. |
